Meet Our Staff

Anna DeSchaaf, LVN


Course Director CPR, Authorized CPR & ECC Provider

Anna DeSchaaf began her health care career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2003. She later went on to graduate from Heartland Community College in 2007 with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing. She was President of the HCC Nursing Club and helped organize numerous events within the community to include the Fall / Spring Fest, annual blood drives, community wellness events and local fundraising. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse she has practiced in many settings and specialties to include family practice, skilled nursing facilities, hospice care, and home health pediatrics with special needs. She has served as a high school teacher’s aid and substitute teacher and has been instrumental in presenting a strong Anti-drug education program to area high schools and the community. Her greatest passion is teaching the art of saving lives. Anna has been American Heart Association instructor since 2012. Her classes include Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR / AED for adult, pediatric and infant, basic first aid, and CPR for Healthcare Professionals. She currently resides in Leander, Texas and services the entire Austin area.
